If you’re like me in the summer, you want to eat ice cream every single day. EVERY SINGLE DAY! But, I can’t really do that in good conscience, so I had to find a way of getting my fix but in a healthier way.
Enter the over ripe, frozen banana! You know those bananas that have turned all brown and you keep in your freezer to one day make banana bread but now you have too many frozen bananas and you don’t know what to do with all of them? Yeah, those! Use them to make ice cream! All you need is a frozen banana and milk. You don’t even have to top it with anything, it’s just that good. I do, of course because I love toppings. But seriously, you don’t have to.
And here’s a quick tip, if your banana isn’t that sweet, add a drizzle of honey to the blender to help bring out the sweetness.
Here’s how to make it. Lemme know if you have questions!
Banana Swirl (2-ingredient No-Sugar Banana Ice Cream)
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/4 cup milk, any kind (a little more if you want it more liquidy)
- Optional toppings, include honey, fruit, chocolate chips, sprinkles, nuts, etc…
Directions
- In a blender, combine banana and milk and blend until smooth. Dish up and serve with your favorite toppings, if you like. Enjoy immediately!
i have never added milk to my banana ice cream, i shall have to try it!

You don’t have to but I think it tastes just a little bit better that way!
