Patriotic Ice Cream Sandwiches

I love making easy and simple festive desserts for American holidays. I love even more when the girls help me make them. While we could easily make something extravagant, sometimes, simple is best.

So in preparation for July 4th next week, the girls and I made patriotic ice cream sandwiches. Amelia picked out the ice cream sandwiches she wanted (and I’m so glad they were @turkeyhill because they’re amazing, imho!) and we filled a bowl with red & blue sprinkles. A quick sprinkle mix and we started dipping away.

In all of 5 minutes, we dipped a box of 8, and I froze them right on the tray. Dessert for July 4th on Thursday is made!
