The viral Tik Tok cinnamon rolls – they use store-bought cinnamon rolls but with a homemade cooking sauce. Decadent? Very! Sweet? Incredibly! Healthy? Definitely not. But what cinnamon rolls are?
I wanted to make something special for breakfast over the weekend and this recipe kept popping up in my feed. So I decided to make it, finally!
These are very easy to make. All you have to do is pop-out the cinnamon rolls from the container, pour the cream over melt a butter and sugar sauce to pour on top and bake! If you use the store-bought frosting that comes with them, it’s even sweeter! But without is good as well. So easy, right?
It’s always ok to have a good sweet every now and again and this should be it! What’s your favorite sweet? Let me know in the comments below!

Semi-Homemade Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 can Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls
- 1/2cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a square baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
- Place the cinnamon rolls in the baking dish and then pour the whipping cream around them.

- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar. Pour this mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. The tops should be golden and most of the liquid should be soaked up. If all of the liquid isn’t soaked up, that’s normal – just spoon it over the cinnamon rolls after you serve them.
- Use the frosting provided in the cinnamon rolls to frost the cinnamon rolls. Serve and drizzle with additional liquid from the pan. Enjoy!
