Once of my favorite summer desserts is a simple grilled peach. Sun-kissed summer peaches are so sweet, they really don’t need anything but the heat of the grill to bring out the sweetest juices. I only top mine with ice cream because, well, who doesn’t love ice cream in the summer too?!
Simple Grilled Peaches
- 1 peach, halved
- Ice cream or whipped cream and honey (optional, to serve)
- Cut peach in half and twist off the pit. Brush the cut sides of the peaches with olive oil and grill, cut side down, until the fruit has developed grill marks and started to soften, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Turn over and grill 4 to 5 more minutes, or until tender. Enjoy topped with ice cream or whipped cream and a drizzle of honey!
